THIS PRIVACY POLICY WAS LAST UPDATED IN MAY 2024

Captive Coalition understands the value of your personal information, and we respect your right to privacy. We are committed to maintaining your confidence and trust. This commitment includes protecting the personal information that we obtain from you.

1. Information We Collect

General: Unless you provide information voluntarily, we will not collect your personal information when you visit our URL. If we ask you to provide information that personally identifies you, our request to do so will be specific. If you register to receive our newsletters or emails, participate in our webinars, or purchase items from our site, we will ask for personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, or credit card information. If we want you to provide additional information, we will explain why we need it and how it will be used at the time of the request.

Email from you: You may email messages to us that will contain your screen name and email address along with any additional information you may wish to include in the text of your message.

Third parties: We may receive personal information from select third parties to fulfill orders for products, to facilitate receipt of one of our newsletters or emails, or to communicate with you concerning your participation in a webinar.

Surveys: We occasionally conduct online surveys on specific topics. Our surveys are entirely voluntary, and you may easily decline to participate.

Website usage information: Our web server automatically collects and aggregates information about your visit to our URL, including your IP address, service provider, browser type, domain names of referring websites, operating system, pages accessed on our website, and the date and time of your access. If you use our online service, our web server will also collect and aggregate all the information you enter into the query form, including the URL to be scanned, the accessibility guideline selected, your time zone and the “other options” settings (if any). This information is not personally identifiable. We analyze this aggregated information to optimize your experience and enhance your time spent with us online.

Tracking cookies: A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identifier that is placed on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a website. We use session-based and persistent first-party cookies to improve your access and ease of use of our website. We also use cookies as data collection devices on our forms to help recognize visitors who have previously registered on our website. The non-personal information collected from first-party cookies is not linked to your personal information. Cookies do not damage your system or files in any way.

Most browsers now recognize when a cookie is offered and permit users to control how and when they will be accepted. If you are not sure whether your browser has this capability, you should consult the documentation that accompanies your browser or check with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of ReNu Insurance Group’s services and websites that you visit.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on behalf of Captive Coalition, including delivering purchases, administering surveys, and assisting with document production services. We will only provide such companies with the personal information that they need to deliver the service that we have requested of them. They are prohibited from using the personal information that we provide to them for any other purpose, and we make reasonable efforts to ensure that all third parties with whom we share personal information undertake to adhere to this Privacy Policy. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties unless you have granted us permission to do so.
